Location

Colchester! Having once been Britain's First City and former capital of Roman Britain it's rich history dates back over 2000 years. On a visit to the city, you'll discover that the historical centre has much to offer. In 2022, Colchester was gifted modern city status as part of the Queen's Platinum Jubilee celebrations, confirming that in the 21st Century Colchester, is also a thriving, modern destination with first-class visitor attractions.

Accommodation & Food

Set in 200 acres of parkland, the Colchester campus (University of Essex) offers beautiful lakes and views and is just two miles from Colchester city centre. The campus offers a range of amenities, such as accommodation, a sports centre, outdoor playing fields and modern teaching facilities. 

Our students are housed in single rooms. All rooms have a private shower and toilet. Continental breakfasts and two hot meals a day are taken in the centre's self-service restaurant. Picnics are provided on excursion days.

30 hours of English lessons spread over 5 full days

The emphasis is on communication to help young people master real-life situations in English. Maximum 15 students per class. Classes are taught by qualified English-speaking teachers. A test at the beginning of the stay makes it possible to evaluate the knowledge and English level of each student and place them at the correct class level.

• London (Greenwich, cruise on the Thames)
• Cliffs of Dover and Canterbury
• East Anglia Tour (Bury St Edmunds, Norwich)
• 5 full days of excursion
• Fun and interesting evening activities offered

Every evening our teams offer an entertainment program consisting of games, karaoke, sports tournaments, disco, talent show, movie night etc....

Students are supervised by our highly experienced team of teachers, instructors and youth leaders working under the direction of our Centre Director.
