The Eastern Seaboard of the United States is a captivating region, offering a rich tapestry of cultural and historical experiences. As you explore New York, Boston, Philadelphia and New Jersey, you'll discover iconic cities each with their own unique attractions.

 

New York: A dynamic and cosmopolitan city, New York is famous for its iconic landmarks like Times Square and Central Park, as well as its world-renowned museums.

Boston: A historic city, Boston is known for its revolutionary heritage and charming neighbourhoods, thanks to the Freedom Trail and its academic institutions.

Washington D.C: Washington D.C. is the capital of the United States, known for its iconic landmarks like the White House, The Capitol, and The National Mall, as well as its role as the political centre of the nation.

 

Accommodation & Food

Youth accommodation or hotels will be provided with good access to public transport. Rooms vary from 2 to 8 beds. All meals are included in the package.

SUPERVISION

No traditional classes but interactive workshops will take place with our English teacher during the cultural visits. Using a specially prepared book of worksheets that ask the students to explore each attraction they are visiting and find answers in English to the various questions. This is a great way for the students to practice and improve their English language skills in real life situations.

PROGRAMME

DAYS 1 TO 4:

BOSTON: Begin your visit with a tour of the Massachusetts State House, followed by a stroll along the Freedom Trail to explore Boston's significant historical landmarks. Experience the city's rich cultural diversity by visiting the vibrant Chinatown and Little Italy. Conclude your journey with a visit to Harvard University campus, where you can soak in the distinctive ambiance of this globally renowned institution.

DAYS 5 TO 8:

NEW YORK: Explore Greenwich Village, a historic and artistic district. The next morning, begin with a visit to the Statue of Liberty, followed by an afternoon in Brooklyn to experience its vibrant streets. The following day, visit the World Trade Centre and the September 11th Memorial, then spend the afternoon in Soho, with stops in the Chinatown and Little Italy districts. Conclude your itinerary with a visit to Times Square, lunch at Central Park, and climb to the Empire State Building for a panoramic view of the city.

 

DAYS 9 TO 14:

WASHINGTON D.C: Visit the Smithsonian Museum. Immerse yourself in American law with visits to Congressthe Capitol, and the Supreme Court. Continue your exploration with a day dedicated to The White House and memorials honouring former American presidents. Visit to the United States Botanical Gardenthe National Museum, and the historic district of Georgetown.
