Location

It’s a fantastic forested site overlooking the River Tay, at the heart of Perthshire’s ‘Big Tree Country’. As well as all the usual exciting multi activities, this is our only centre with the Sequoia Scramble (a vertical challenge suspended between 2 Sequoia trees) and a 75ft tree climb!

The wildlife in this unspoilt area is also incredible and, if you are lucky, you may see the elusive red squirrel or even leaping salmon!

Accommodation & Food

Students will be in rooms of 4 to 6 beds, sharing bathroom facilities with a few other rooms. Continental or English Breakfast and two hot meals per day served in the self-service restaurant. 

27 hours of lessons during a 2-week stay

Students are given an English language test on arrival and placed in English classes according to their language level. 

Average number of students per class:12-14 with a maximum of 15. Our teachers are all fully qualified. Many of our teachers have worked regularly on our past programmes. They work with great enthusiasm and energy to make their classes really vibrant and enjoyable.

Emphasis on spoken English and listening skills, including work on essential grammar and vocabulary. We aim to make students effective and confident in their everyday communication. All course materials are supplied.

Every evening our teams offer an entertainment programme made up of games, quizzes, movie night, talent show, treasure hunt, campfire, disco, highland games, passport to the world, tag archery, laser game, cludeo etc.

2 full-day excursions + 2 half-day excursion

Examples of Excursions: Edinburgh, Stirling, Blair Atholl, Pitlochry etc.

Students are supervised by our highly experienced team of English teachers and youth leaders working under

the direction of our Centre Director.
