Shropshire (Boreatton Park), Lincolnshire (Caythorpe Court), Lancashire (Winmarleigh Hall), Sussex (Windmill Hill) Wiltshire (Liddington), Suffolk (Bawdsey Manor), Isle of Wight (Little Canada), Dorset (Osmington Bay).

 

Accommodation & Food

They have indoor and outdoor facilities with large open spaces offering an exceptional range of adventures and activities, including water sports.

Accommodation is in rooms with 4 to 8 bunk beds. All rooms have a private shower and toilet. English and continental breakfasts and two hot meals a day are served in the centre's self-service restaurant.

SUPERVISION

15 hours of English classes during an 8-day stay.

 

Students are given an English language test on arrival and placed in English classes according to their language level.

Average number of students per class: 12-14 with a maximum of 15 (according to age). Our teachers are all fully qualified. Many of our teachers have worked regularly on our past programmes. They work with great enthusiasm and energy to make their classes really vibrant and enjoyable. Emphasis on spoken English and listening skills, including work on essential grammar and vocabulary. We aim to make students effective and confident in their everyday communication. All course materials are supplied.

Half days of sportive, leisure or cultural activities and evening games

 

1 day excursion and 1 half-day excursion during the stay.

 

Examples of activities: abseiling, Jacob’s ladder, canoeing, climbing, survivor, raft building, mountain biking, giant swing, high ropes, archery, quad biking, pool games, sport and team games etc.

 

Examples of evening games: quiz, disco, movie night, talent contest, thematic night, treasure hunt, campfire etc.

 

Every evening, our teams offer an entertainment programme consisting of games, quizzes and activities to relax or entertain, encouraging the youngsters to be creative.  The evening entertainment will be chosen and adapted to the needs of each group of young people.
