14 days long stays:
St Cyran du Jambot in Touraine close to the Brenne National Park.
Students are accommodated 6 to 8 maximum per room. Full-board.
15 hours of French or English per stay.
Students are given a French or English language test on arrival and placed in French or English classes according to their language level.
Average number of students per class 12-14 with a maximum of 16 students per class. Our staff are all fully qualified teachers. Many of our teachers have worked regularly on our past programmes. They work with great enthusiasm and energy to make the classes really vibrant and enjoyable.
Emphasis is on spoken French or English and listening skills, including work on essential grammar and vocabulary. We aim to make students effective and confident in their everyday communication. All course materials supplied.
A variety of sports, leisure and cultural activities and excursions, i.e dodge ball, British bulldog, swimming, football etc.
5 days in which to discover animal species from all over the world:
• 3 days visiting the Zoo of Beauval. There will
be 5 workshops in total with the zookeepers on the themes of ‘Discovery of Africa’, ‘European Animals’, ‘Adventures in Oceania’, Gateway to Asia’, ‘The Americas’ etc.
• 2 days at the Animal Reserve of the Haute Touche. There will be 3 workshops: ‘Endangered Animals’, France’s Native Animals’ and ‘ Water, Life and Substainable Development’
Students are supervised by our highly experienced team of teachers, instructors and youth leaders working under the direction of our Centre Director.
